Millard and Muriel Jacobs Genetics and Genomics Laboratory
Overview

The Millard and Muriel Jacobs Genetics and Genomics Laboratory, in the Division of Biology, provides genomic research tools to Caltech scientists, with an emphasis on high throughput sequencing and microarray analysis. The Laboratory is equipped with the necessary experimental and bioinformatics infrastructure to generate, store and analyze large-scale datasets from Illumina HiSeq2500 hight throughput sequencer and several microarray platforms. It is located in the Kerckhoff Laboratory building, rooms 102-108.

The Laboratory is directed by Dr. Igor Antoshechkin. The overseeing committee consists of Caltech Professors Drs. David Anderson, Elliot Meyerowitz, Paul Sternberg and Barbara Wold.

The Laboratory is supported by the Muriel and Millard Jacobs Fund for Genomics and Genetic Technology and the Millard and Muriel Jacobs Family Foundation. For information on how to cite work performed by the Laboratory, see Policies.
